Working primarily in acrylic paint but branching out into whatever strikes her fancy, Laura is a versatile, emotive, comedic and covertly political artist who doesn’t shy away from color, taboo, or intelligent thought.

Laura is co-director of 317 Art Collective, director of SmARTy Pants Rockford Kid’s Art Studio, founding member of Fringe Art Syndicate and co-founder of Ubiquitous AF. For more information visit artbylauragomel.com.

Jenny Mathews (Right) is a self taught visual artist from Rockford, IL, specializing in tiny watercolor illustrations and big acrylic murals.
